ANR is cheap and effective and if technology is fully implemented it can restore degraded Agricultural land and grazing reserved in to productive use within a period of 3-5years.
The Programme preservation of indigenous tree species and shrubs which helped in adding enhancing nutrients status of the soil naturally. Most of these integrated trees species and shrubs are very rich in nutrient content in the soil. Their leaves roots and fruits are highly fertile; therefore, they help to reclaim the soil and add more to existing soil nutrients. During land preparation all plant residues are incorporated to the soil all year round.
